GROWTH IS THE KEY! Congress Pre Budget Talks Series

Over the coming weeks the Irish Congress of Trade Unions will hold a series of public talks nationwide to outline why we believe that restoring growth and creating jobs is the most effective way out of the crisis facing the country.
The talks will detail why continued austerity is wrong and why growth is the key to recovery. They will also look at some of the new job creation and investment proposals contained in the Congress Pre Budget Submission.
They will feature input from the Economic Research Unit and other specialists. The talks are free and open to union members, activists and the public.
To date, they have been scheduled to take place in Waterford, Cork and Limerick.
But places are limited and those wishing to attend must book online in advance, at the links below
