Women at Work Skillnet believes women are the key to economic recovery

The Women at Work Skillnet, of which Mandate is a large participator, believes that, with women playing a much larger role in the workforce in Ireland, the key to economic recovery will be dependent on the up-skilling and education of women.

Government economic strategy failing say experts

28 economists, social scientists and economic analysts have written an open letter, published in the Irish Times on 8 March 2010, arguing that the Government's economic strategy is failing, and warning that the current approach of spending cuts combined with tax increases on low and average income earners will bring about a low-growth, high-debt future.
