MANDATE applauds Labour Conference decision calling on Government to make no further cuts to lone parents' payments

The Mandate Trade Union applauds the decision of the Labour Party Conference at the weekend to to support a motion calling on the Government to make no further cuts to lone parents' social welfare payments. The Labour Party decision is a testament to the hard work of campaign groups like OPEN and SPARK whose campaigns on this issue have the full support of Mandate and other unions.
