Retail Project Launches in Latin America

A four year project was launched in Latin America aimed at boosting union membership in the retail sector and building union networks in multinational retail companies.  The aim is to sign global agreements with retail giants to establish union rights, dialogue and collective bargaining.  The project covers Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay and targets large multinational retailers such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour and Concosud.
